The Future of Next Gen!
Well the GDC has come and gone, and I am very interested in seeing the next gen games. XboxNext probably for me I am the least interested in. Mainly, because Microsoft seems to be going the safe route. Of just upgrading instead of innovating. The Xbox Live integration with everything is awesome. Yet for years and years i've been wanting this feature, and yet everyone acts like its a great NEW idea. Plus I expect at least SONY to do a similar service. I'm not saying SONY is going to innovate, but waiting a year will let the graphics on the PS3 be much better. Unreal 3.0 is supposadly supposed to be capable of running on the XboxNEXT. That is amazing, but imagine the PS3... Then again we havn't heard anything from sony, so I need to wait for the inside scoop on that stuff. Then there is Nintendo. I am eagerly awaiting what the hell they have up their sleeve. In the end i'm probably going to be dissapointed. In my mind "revolutionary" would be a headset to help actually BE in the game, or maybe using your hand with a sort of glove to move around, Or even actually hold a gun/use and a headset moniter to REALLY BE in the game. These things really seem to be far off. Especially with what the Eyetoy guys said about how it will be ready AFTER the next gen. Gyroscopes revolutionary? maybe... We will see.
By the way this is what I plan to spend on my PSP so far! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
1.PSP (249.99)
2.Twisted Metal: Head On (39.99)
3. Wipeout Fusion (39.99)
4. Screen protector (4.99)
6. Memory Stick PRO DUO 1 GIG (179.99)
7. Linxsys Wireless router (49.99)
I know this is crazy!
